The Atlas of Asian Alcohol

More than a thousand makers of traditional spirits and fermented beverages, mapped across eight countries: every honkaku shochu and awamori distillery in Japan, the sool breweries of Korea, the great baijiu and huangjiu houses of China and Taiwan, the rượu craft villages of Vietnam, the lao khao distillers and folk spirits of Thailand, the lambanog and coconut spirits of the Philippines, the arak, tuak and island spirits of Indonesia, and the tuak, lihing and licensed toddy of Malaysia. Each country is its own atlas with a zoomable map, style filters, verified links and a print poster. Tap a country to enter.
